We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing cardiology team. This role is ideal for a clinically strong NP with a passion for cardiovascular care and at least two years of hands-on cardiology experience in either a practice-based or hospital-based setting.

Position Overview

The Cardiology NP will collaborate closely with cardiologists and clinical staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care across inpatient and/or outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, histories, and physical exams
• Manage and follow patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions
• Order, interpret, and document diagnostic studies (EKGs, labs, imaging, stress testing, etc.)
• Develop and implement treatment plans  
• Provide patient education, counseling, and follow-up care
• Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers

Qualifications

• Current Nevada Nurse Practitioner license
• National NP certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Minimum of 2 years cardiology experience in a cardiology practice or hospital setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
