  • Coordinate schedules, manage patient flow, and identify workflow improvements

  • Ensure clinic readiness each day

  • Train and support any future clinical support staff

  • Identify operational issues and proactively escalate or resolve them

  • Support scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records as needed

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EHR

Required

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA)

  • Minimum 3–5 years of medical assistant experience (specialty practice strongly preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience with both clinical patient care and back-office operations

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Comfort taking ownership of clinic operations and decision-making

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a lead or senior MA role

  • Experience in hematology, or other specialty practices

  • Familiarity with EHR systems and specialty workflows
